Together, we co-create moments that matter - both for our audiences and our employees - and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.<br /> <br /> Overview:<br /> <br /> As a video producer at The Free Press, you'll play a vital role in our editorial operations, helping lead our social video output, creating original short-form video as well as working across podcasts and shows to make sure that every piece of Free Press video journalism finds its audience.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<br /> <br /> • Create original short-form video for our social channels<br /> <br /> • Convert a wide range of Free Press content, from deep investigations to punchy columns, into compelling short-form video<br /> <br /> • Work across midform and podcasts, offering input, support and guidance for producers and editors on our shows and other video products<br /> <br /> • Identify viral moments from Free Press shows and long-form video content and package them for social channels<br /> <br /> Basic Qualifications:<br /> <br /> • 3+ years of experience<br /> <br /> • Social video production and editing<br /> <br /> • Well-developed visual storytelling capabilities<br /> <br /> • Proficiency with design tools like Canva and Photoshop<br /> <br /> • Design software experience is considered a required qualification<br /> <br /> Additional Qualifications:<br /> <br /> • A video-native storyteller, obsessed with what makes content break through - a news junkie who understands the 24/7 cycle and online commentary culture<br /> <br /> • Strong in horizontal and vertical video, with sharp instincts for hooks, framing, pacing, and timing<br /> <br /> • Confidence in scriptwriting with flair and meticulousness with tight, accurate copy that never drifts from the facts<br /> <br /> • An accomplished editor, comfortable taking a video from raw material to published post without hand-holding<br /> <br /> • Fluent in design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) for thumbnails, graphics, and packaging<br /> <br /> • Familiarity with podcast workflows and the ability to spot the moment worth clipping<br /> <br /> • Ability to contribute to scripts and episode prep and speak the language of the podcast team<br /> <br /> • Genuinely fluent in TFP's singular brand, voice, and ethos - you read us, watch us, and listen to us already<br /> <br /> • A self-starter who sees the moment, makes the thing and sets it free<br /> <br /> Paramount Skydance Corporation (NASDAQ: PSKY) is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates premium content and experiences for audiences worldwide.
