[Remote] Jr Software Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of software applications. The role involves coding, testing, troubleshooting, collaborating with senior developers and cross-functional teams, supporting deployments and integrations, and participating in Agile practices.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following development standards
  • Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new features
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from team members
  • Assist in software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Support integration of third-party applications and services
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1–2 years of software development experience
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar
  • Understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • Basic knowledge of source control tools such as Git
  • Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and software architecture concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. English Level B2 required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Internship, academic projects, or personal software development projects
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as reputed company Azure, AWS, or reputed company Cloud
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
