Position Overview: Inbound Solar Sales Representative

As an Inbound Solar Sales Representative, you will be responsible for converting inbound homeowner inquiries into qualified solar appointments.

You will take live inbound transfers, educate the homeowners on available solar solutions, qualify their needs, handle initial objections, and schedule appointments for experienced Solar Consultants.

The ideal candidate is a sales-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced phone sales environment, enjoys achieving targets, and is motivated by commission-based earnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle live inbound calls and qualified homeowner sales opportunities
  • Conduct phone-based sales conversations and lead qualification
  • Generate and set qualified solar appointments for Solar Consultants
  • Build rapport and establish trust with potential customers
  • Educate homeowners on residential solar benefits, energy savings, and available solutions
  • Identify customer needs and determine solar eligibility
  • Overcome objections and guide prospects through the initial sales process
  • Follow sales scripts, systems, and proven appointment-setting processes
  • Maintain accurate customer information and activity records in CRM software
  • Perform consistent follow-up with prospects to maximize conversion opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to improve performance and conversion rates

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong verbal communication and phone sales skills
  • Confident speaking with homeowners and decision-makers
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and influence purchasing decisions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM platforms
  • Reliable internet connection and professional remote workspace
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Competitive mindset with a desire to win
  • Coachable attitude and willingness to improve sales skills
