The trainee will support senior quantity surveyors in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), assisting with cost planning, and monitoring project budgets. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and verifying site measurements, updating cost reports, and helping track material and labor expenditures. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting tender preparation, and collaborating with engineering, design, and site teams to ensure cost-effective project delivery. The position offers structured training and mentorship to develop professional skills in quantity surveying within residential construction.</p><strong><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p></strong><p> </p><ul><li>Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and residential project workflows.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software; familiarity with quantity surveying or estimating tools is an advantage.</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.</li><li>Willingness to learn, accept guidance, and develop a long-term career in quantity surveying.</li></ul>
