As a Senior Product Manager, you will create new payment experiences that make repaying easier, improve payment success, and define how payments are processed safely and cost-effectively. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong>We are looking for a curious, collaborative Senior Product Manager to improve how customers pay with Affirm.<br><br><ul><li>We are looking for a curious, collaborative Senior Product Manager to improve how customers pay with Affirm </li><li>Focus on the customer, uncovering where paying breaks down through research and data, and sharing those insights across the team </li><li>Create new payment experiences that make repaying easier, working with Design and Analytics from discovery to launch </li><li>Design and run experiments that improve conversion, payment success, and cost </li><li>Shape how payments are processed safely and cost-effectively, weighing performance and risk </li><li>Be a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships, exploring new opportunities together, evaluating their impact, and defining sequencing </li><li>Drive an ambitious roadmap that delivers customer and business outcomes by identifying the highest-impact bets and presenting strategy to senior leaders <br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Look For<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of product management experience </li><li>Analytical rigor: you are comfortable in the data and use experiment results and customer research to make product decisions </li><li>Curiosity about customers: you have strong instincts for where an experience breaks down and the drive to fix it </li><li>Experience holding informed conversations with engineers about how systems work and the tradeoffs they carry </li><li>A track record of taking products from discovery through launch and iteration, including turning ambiguous or conflicting inputs into a clear plan </li><li>Clear communication and influence: you explain tradeoffs well and build trust and alignment across Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships, including senior leaders, without needing formal authority </li><li>Bonus points for experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce <br><br></li></ul>Base Pay Grade - N<br><br>Equity Grade - 9<br><br><strong>Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range</strong>. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.<br><br>Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)<br><br>USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $195,000 - $255,000<br><br>USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $173,000 - $233,000<br><br><strong>Remote-first with flexibility built in<br><br></strong>Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company. Some positions may occasionally require in-person work at an Affirm office, and a few are office-based due to the nature of the work.
