[Remote] Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager, Enterprise Procurement, Senior Leader

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trucordia is an insurance brokerage seeking an Indirect Strategic Sourcing Leader to help build and scale its enterprise procurement organization. The role leads sourcing initiatives, develops category and supplier strategies, manages commercial negotiations, and partners with stakeholders across indirect spend categories while advancing procurement governance, analytics, technology, and AI-enabled processes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop category strategies, supplier strategies, multi-year roadmaps, category playbooks, and governance approaches that support enterprise priorities and business growth
  • Maintain supplier segmentation, renewal visibility, preferred supplier programs, and category governance approaches
  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements, supplier innovation, risks, and industry developments
  • Provide category intelligence, benchmarking insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Translate enterprise business priorities into category-level sourcing and supplier strategies
  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, Facilities, HR, Marketing, Operations and other business functions
  • Engage stakeholders early to influence sourcing decisions and commercial strategies
  • Support supplier lifecycle management, performance management, renewal planning, and supplier optimization initiatives
  • Support procurement policies, governance, operating model improvements, tools, templates, and sourcing frameworks
  • Analyze spend, supplier, contract, and category data
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, reporting, business cases, and recommendations
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, AI-enabled tools, and procurement technologies to improve business outcomes

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, plus 5+ years in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Supplier Management, or Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite; Power BI; NetSuite or equivalent ERP; Zip or equivalent procurement workflow platform; and Jira or equivalent project management tool
  • Comfortable independently analyzing data, building business cases and executive presentations, and translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations for senior leaders
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environments, with the flexibility and judgment to contribute beyond traditional functional boundaries
  • Experience developing category strategies, playbooks, supplier segmentation models, and sourcing roadmaps
  • Experience managing indirect spend in insurance, financial services, professional services, technology, or other complex enterprise environments
  • Skilled in spend and supplier analysis, benchmarking, and business analytics, with a track record of turning findings into decision-support materials for leadership
  • Experience supporting procurement transformation initiatives and multi-site, acquisition-driven, or high-growth organizations
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled business tools and analytics platforms
