Production Assistant - Short

The project is a fast-paced, highly visual 5-page short about a neurotic insomniac navigating life in a surreal, slapstick zombie-sleepwalking state. The tone is visual, physical, and comedic, with minimal dialogue.



Shoot Dates: August 29th and 30th

Location: Los Angeles

Commitment: 2-3 days (depending on whether you're interested in pre-production)



We're looking to bring a resourceful Production Assistant who has an interest in learning how to produce a short film. This is a visually rich story. Think ''The Graduate'', visually, but on a much smaller scale. Everyone on board has a can do attitude and hopefully that's you as well.



This is a fast-paced 5 page comedy, revolving around a neurotic protagonist in a zombie sleepwalking state but with some slapstick comedy. It's heavily visual to convey the comedy of operating on no sleep. If that sounds appealing then do respond.



Looking for a Production Assistant that has a desire to work on an organized production, wants to add a strikingly visual film to their resume, and might have to access to a Meeting room or any location for a short shoot.



We can provide a showcase for your casting skills with a tight story, structured shoot, and a well prepared cast. We already have a TV/Film industry cinematographer, camera and sound equipment.



This will be a very organized shoot to respect cast and crew's time and make sure everyone knows how important they are to the finished film. At this point we have everything we need for physical production. The only thing we are looking for is any business or eatery that might donate food for the production. I think that might be a longshot but if you have a lifehack that can bring that to our production then we'd bring you on.
