Fulfillment Centers throughout the U.S. handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ships them across the globe each day. The successful IT Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for utilizing their skills to provide assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering, delivery, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas. IT Equipment Coordinators are also responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty. The IT Equipment Coordinator is a member of the larger IT team within the Fulfillment Center and will specifically support the IT Support Technicians and IT Support Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed. This position reports directly to the IT manager for the location.<br><br>Please note: by applying to this requisition, you are acknowledging that you may be considered for a full time permanent IT Equipment Coordinator position for SAT3.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Candidate must have a solid understanding of computers and computer related equipment (i.e. printers, scanners, storage devices, monitors, etc.). Must be willing to perform cable management, inventory, and equipment audits routinely.<br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts</li><li> Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, or asset management</li><li> Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair</li><li> Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li> High School diploma, or equivalent</li><li> Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays</li><li> Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach</li><li> Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals</li><li> Experience in customer service</li><li> Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels</li><li> Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service</li><li> Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously</li><li> Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
