<strong>List Of Tasks To Be Performed<br><br></strong><ul><li> Work with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and platforms, along with programming languages and tools for web mapping and spatial data management</li><li> Analyze and translate business requirements into efficient geospatial software designs that meet the needs of the organization and align with the business goals and processes.</li><li> Design and develop mapping applications, including user interfaces and spatial analysis features.</li><li> Build interactive web maps using web mapping technologies.</li><li> Handle and manipulate geospatial data.</li><li> Utilize GIS software such as ArcGIS and cloud-based platforms for mapping tasks.</li><li> Automate geospatial analysis processes and customize GIS software for project needs.</li><li> Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure database design meets project requirements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge With The Following Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS software for geospatial applications.</li><li> Understanding of geospatial data formats, projections, and cartography.</li><li> Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li> Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and business users, and to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.</li><li> Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#.</li><li> Working knowledge of GIS platforms like ArcGIS, QGIS, and web mapping technologies.</li><li> Familiarity with spatial databases and cloud computing services.</li><li>Software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and MapInfo are commonly used for creating and analyzing geographic data.</li><li>Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, and Java to develop GIS applications and scripts.</li><li>Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) like ESRI Map APIs, Leaflet, and OpenLayers to integrate mapping and geospatial functionalities into web applications.</li><li>Front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular to develop web-based GIS applications.</li><li>Tools like Git for version control and collaboration to develop GIS applications in a team environment.<br><br></li></ul>Working knowledge (2+ years experience) of one of more of the following qualifications:<br><br><ul><li> Working knowledge of GIS principles and spatial data concepts.</li><li> Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies</li><li> Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices</li><li> DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)</li><li> Experience with Cloud architecture, design and development</li><li> Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes</li><li> Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc)</li><li> Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Required Skills/Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience.</li><li>A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.</li><li>Typically performs all functional duties independently.</li><li>Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis. "<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Provisions<br><br></strong><ul><li> Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.</li><li> All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).</li><li> Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.</li><li> Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)</li></ul>
