Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Delivery Driver at Allen Business Machines, Fort Wayne

You're the kind of person who does the job right the first time. You don't cut corners on the paperwork, you don't leave a customer guessing, and you take quiet pride in a route run clean from the first stop to the last. If that sounds like you, read on.

Here's the work, honestly.

You'll run assigned delivery and pickup routes around Fort Wayne and the surrounding area, moving copiers, printers, supplies, and parts to the businesses that count on us. Some days you'll set up furniture or handle warranty work too. It's physical. You'll lift and move heavy equipment, sometimes up and down stairs with a stair-climber dolly. At every stop you verify the packing list, collect the signature, and report anything that doesn't add up. Before you roll out each morning, you inspect your vehicle and flag anything that needs attention.

This is a fit if you:

  • Take real pride in accurate paperwork and doing things by the book.
  • Would rather run a steady, predictable route than fight a different fire every day.
  • Can be the face of ABM at a customer's door, courteous and clear.
  • Lift and move heavy equipment safely, stairs included.
  • Own your route without someone looking over your shoulder.

It's probably not your fit if you're after a desk job, a sales role, or a fast track into management. This is hands-on delivery work. The people who love it love the work itself.
