What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Build: Assist our carpenters in the framing and rough-in stages of building our luxury saunas; measuring, cutting, assembling, and prepping materials.
  • Learning the Craft: Pick up real carpentry skills on the job, with guidance from experienced builders who want to see you succeed.
  • Handling Materials: Pick up supplies and organize materials.
  • Maintaining a Safe, Clean Environment: Safety and cleanliness will be a priority in your role, ensuring a smooth, efficient work environment.

What We're Looking For
 

We're looking for someone ready to build a long-term career in the trades. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Willingness to Learn: No formal experience required, some carpentry or construction experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn matter most.
  • Attention to Detail: A passion for quality craftsmanship and an eye for precision.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to adapt and find solutions under pressure.
  • Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Safety Conscious: A commitment to workplace safety and regulations.
  • Physically Capable: Comfortable with hands-on labour able to lift over 50 lbs and stay active on your feet throughout the workday.,
  • Valid Driver's Licence: A valid B.C. driver's licence is required.
  • Bonus: If you've got hands-on hobbies or background, woodworking, DIY projects, lifeguarding, or anything showing responsibility and a maker's mindset we'd love to hear about it.
