Job description:

The business has evolved from strictly aerospace engineering to a full scale vertically integrated manufacturer of general aviation seats and interiors.

As an established provider of interiors and seats, Millennium Concepts is an FAA TSO/ETSO holder for cabin and crew seating systems and holds FAA and foreign supplemental type certificates (STC) and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) authorizations.

Job Summary: Assemble aircraft seats to specifications and blueprints.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Perform routing and repetitive assembly operations and processes included in an aircraft component assembly

Read blueprints, follow written and verbal instruction

Perform basic math calculations

Move between workstations as needed

Perform rework of nonconforming components

Use basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment

Troubleshoot and solve basic production issues without Team Leader direction

Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards a resolution

Actively support compliance and EH&S policies and regulatory requirements

Communicate professionally and effectively

Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Read, write, speak and understand English language

Ability, with or without accommodation, to perform the essential functions of assembly operations

Demonstrated regular and predictable attendance

Knowledge of manufacturing operations

Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy

Ability to work cooperatively with leaders, peers, customers, and others in a team environment displaying mutual trust and respect

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.

Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed;performs work independently without being prompted.
